Effective July 16, 2026 · applies to inkjaw.com
We collect only what we need to run the site and make it better, we never sell it, and a real human handles any request. Here's the rest, in plain language.
Who we are
InkJaw Creative runs inkjaw.com, a home for writing tools, story packs, and author services. Questions about anything here? Ask us and a human answers.
What we collect
- Your account. Your email, the name you give us, and a password we can't read. The things you save, buy, and download live here so they're waiting when you come back.
- Purchases. What you bought and the email it belongs to, so your downloads are yours forever. Your card never touches our servers, Stripe handles that.
- Newsletter. If you opt in, your email and the fact that you said yes. Nothing more.
- Messages. Whatever you write to us, so we can write back.
- Voice Profile. The writing you paste in is kept with your report so we can create it and email it to you. Used for nothing else.
- Friendly analytics. Cookie-free and first-party: which pages and tools people enjoy, so we can make more of them. No third parties, and we honor Do Not Track.
What we never do
- Sell or rent your data. To anyone, for anything.
- Run ad trackers or third-party analytics.
- Keep what you type into the free tools, it makes your result and it's gone.
- See your card number, that stays in Stripe's vault.
How the tools work
The Story Wizards, Voice Profile, and instant reports create your result with a text generator. Whatever you type is passed securely and anonymously, used only to make your result, and never used to train anything, sold, or shared. Free-tool text isn't kept; paid results are saved to your own account so you can re-read them, and nowhere else.
Who helps run things
A few trusted providers handle the essentials, Stripe processes payments so we never see your card, and others deliver our email and keep the site online. Each gets only what it needs to do its job.
Cookies & storage
One cookie keeps you logged in, and that's it, no tracking cookies. Our analytics use a random browser ID that isn't tied to you.
How long we keep it
Your account and its downloads stay as long as your account does. If you unsubscribe, we remember that one thing, so we never email you by accident.
Your rights
Wherever you live, these are yours: ask us to see, correct, or delete your data, and we'll do it. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe. EU, UK, and California rights (access, correction, deletion, portability, objection) are honored on request, no forms, no fuss.
Kids
InkJaw isn't for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If a young writer signed up anyway, a parent or guardian can tell us and we'll remove the account.
When this changes
If we change how we handle your data, this page changes first and the date above moves with it. Anything meaningful, we email account holders, not bury it.
Talk to a human
Anything unclear or anything you want done with your data? Send us a message. A real human reads every one.
